Define Physical Property Parameter

Physical property refers to parameters, that are mapped to one of parameter derived from reference tables. Reference tables are created and uploaded using Physical property tables described in section Physical Property Library.

Define Parameter for Physical Property

Perform the following steps to define the parameters:

  1. Click Physical Property tab in Parameter page.

    When adding a record for any parameter under the Parameter section (Constructional, Operational, Derived, Predicted, or Physical Property), if a parameter is already associated with any of these categories, it does not appear in the add record parameter list. For example, if you add a record for a Constructional parameter, the same parameter is not available for selection in Constructional or any other listed categories.

  2. Click Add Record button. Add Parameter tab opens and lists all the available parameters.

  3. Select the Physical Property parameters needed for this asset template by selecting the check box next to the parameters.

    You can also search the required parameters using the search box in the top right corner of the window.

  4. Click Add.

    Configure Property with Physical Table

    Perform the following steps to configure property with physical property table:

    1. To configure physical property table for the respective parameter, click icon.

      Select physical property table

    2. Select the required physical property table and click Next.

      The details of the selected property table is displayed on the left hand side.

Map Properties with Variables

Perform the following steps to map property or properties with variables:

  1. Select the property for which you want to do the mapping by clicking the drop-down menu.

  2. Select the required Parameter Code and Parameter Name, clicking the drop - down menu.

  3. Click Submit.

    Only the Operational parameter details are used for mapping the properties with variables.

  4. Click Save.
